By accessing or using the Growth Signal Marketing website at growthsignalmarketing.com, or by engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or engage our services. These terms apply to website visitors and to clients who engage Growth Signal Marketing for consulting and marketing services.
About Growth Signal Marketing
Growth Signal Marketing LLC is a marketing strategy and execution consultancy operated by Adrienne Hunter, based in Columbia, Maryland. We provide marketing strategy, brand messaging, and execution support to solopreneurs and small business owners.
These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and, together with any signed Client Services Agreement, your engagement of our professional services. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed Client Services Agreement, the Client Services Agreement takes precedence.

Permitted use
You may use growthsignalmarketing.com for lawful purposes only. You are welcome to browse our content, learn about our services, submit an inquiry through our contact form, and book a Discovery Call.
Prohibited use
You agree not to use our website to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Transmit any unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our website or its underlying systems
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce our content without prior written permission

Our Services
Service descriptions
Growth Signal Marketing offers the following core services, described in detail on our Services page:
- Marketing Clarity Session — a focused 90-minute diagnostic session
- Marketing Foundation Package — a comprehensive strategy and execution engagement
- Monthly retainer support — available to existing clients on request
All service engagements are governed by a signed Client Services Agreement, which sets out the specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and investment for each project.
No guarantee of results
Marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions, your business operations, competitive landscape, and how our recommendations are implemented. We bring significant expertise and genuine care to every engagement, but we cannot and do not guarantee specific business results, revenue growth, lead volume, or client acquisition outcomes.
Discovery calls
Our free 30-minute Discovery Call is an exploratory conversation to determine whether Growth Signal Marketing is a good fit for your needs. Participation in a Discovery Call does not constitute an engagement of our services and does not create any contractual obligation on either party.
Payments and Fees
Pricing
Our current service pricing is displayed on our Services page and in project proposals. Prices are in US Dollars and are subject to change. The price confirmed in a signed proposal and Client Services Agreement is the price that governs that specific engagement.
Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- A 50% deposit is required before work commences on any engagement
- The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of final deliverables
- Marketing Clarity Sessions are paid in full at time of booking
- All invoices are due within 7 days of the invoice date
- Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly fee on the outstanding balance
Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. If a client terminates an engagement after work has begun, they are responsible for payment of all work completed to the date of termination, calculated on a pro-rated basis. Completed and delivered work is non-refundable.
Disputed charges
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us at adrienne@growthsignalmarketing.com within 14 days of the invoice date. We will review the matter promptly and in good faith.
Intellectual Property
Our content
All content on growthsignalmarketing.com — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the overall design — is the property of Growth Signal Marketing LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and print content from our website for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish our content without prior written permission.
Client deliverables
Upon receipt of final payment in full, clients own all deliverables produced specifically for them under a Client Services Agreement — including copy, messaging frameworks, strategy documents, and other agreed outputs.
Our methodology and frameworks
Growth Signal Marketing retains ownership of its proprietary methodologies, frameworks, templates, and processes, even where elements of these are used or shared in the course of client work. Client-specific applications of these frameworks become client property upon full payment; the underlying frameworks remain ours.
Portfolio and case study rights
We reserve the right to reference client engagements in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials, including naming the client’s business, unless the client requests confidentiality in writing prior to the start of the engagement.
Confidentiality
We treat all non-public client information as confidential. This includes business strategies, financial information, client data, and proprietary materials shared with us in the course of an engagement. We do not disclose confidential information to third parties without your written consent, except as required by law or as necessary to deliver our services (e.g. sharing a content brief with a vetted subcontractor).
Any subcontractors engaged by Growth Signal Marketing are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
This confidentiality obligation survives the termination of any engagement and these Terms of Service.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Website disclaimer
Our website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.
Professional services disclaimer
The information and content on our website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional marketing, legal, financial, or business advice. Engaging our services is subject to a separate Client Services Agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Growth Signal Marketing LLC and Adrienne Hunter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of our website or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In all cases, our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Growth Signal Marketing in the three months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to or use of our website shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Howard County, Maryland.
Dispute resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at adrienne@growthsignalmarketing.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a genuine effort to resolve any concern within 30 days of receiving written notice.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes arising from client service engagements will be resolved through binding arbitration in Howard County, Maryland, as specified in the applicable Client Services Agreement.
Class action waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to resolve any disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to bring or participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at growthsignalmarketing.com/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. By using our website, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients directly by email.
Your continued use of our website after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please discontinue use of our website.
General Provisions
Entire agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed Client Services Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Growth Signal Marketing LLC with respect to your use of our website and services.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Growth Signal Marketing LLC.
Independent contractor
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency between you and Growth Signal Marketing LLC. We operate as an independent contractor.
Force majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet disruptions, or other events outside our control.
